My currently salary is significantly higher than the salary specified in LCA. I am planning to go for stamping next month.
Will it be a problem with big salary difference during stamping? Is it required to file an amendment.

I am a physical therapist licensed to practice in michigan.i also have eligibility letter ( for pennsylvania)-pa does not issue license without ssn number.
i am in usa on H4.
can i self sponser my green card under national interest waiver.
i am originally from india.
any law firms that could help me with this

Folks,
My GC was applied with employer A in Nov-2005. 485 applied during July 2007 fiasco. Even though I have EAD/AP, I have always maintained H1B status.
Recently got H1B transferred to employer B and its approved for 3 years.
My H1B visa (from employer B) will expire this month.
Can I make a trip to India and re-enter using AP, and still maintain H1B status?
I dont want to go through the hassle of going for H1B visa stamping for 10th to 12th year.

On 10/01/09, President Obama signed a continuing resolution to fund continued federal government operations through October 31, 2009. Included in the legislation were provisions to extend the E-Verify, Religious Worker, Conrad 30 and EB-5 programs.
The continuing resolution was attached to the FY10 Legislative Branch Appropriations bill (H.R. 2918), and was passed by the House of Representatives on 9/25/09 and the Senate on 9/30/09.
The E-Verify, Religious Worker, Conrad 30 and EB-5 programs have all been extended for an additional 30 days, though all they may be extended further in the coming weeks once the Senate and House conference the FY10 Homeland Security Appropriations bill (H.R. 2892).

One can contiue to stay using I-485 receipt without valid I-94. afasik I-797 can be used only if you filed H1 extention after you came back on parolee.
If a person travels on AP, he will get a new PAROLE I-94 which shows expiry date of 1 year from the day he entered on AP. Can the person stay in US AFTER that expiry date and continue working using a valid I-797?

I requested for a document that got returned as undeliverable to be resent.
I first requested CSR and she gave me a referrral#.
Same day I spoke with IIO and she made the request again for me(before I could tell her I spoke with CSR)
Today I spoke with a CSR and gave her the referral# that the CSR gave me last week and this lady says she didn't find any information related to this referral# .She did say it does surprise her. She also said she will open a new request .
I was concerned if that will be kind of duplication of the work done by CSR & IIO last week and she said there is no need for such concern.
What does all this mean?
They open a request , give you a referral# and tell you the document will get mailed in 3-5 business days .
IIO says she has placed a request.
You go back after a week , and referral# has no information attached to it and this CSR says she 'll open new request.
Anybody has any idea?

Now a days VFS is not releasing appointment dates more than 2 - 2.5 weeks in advance. I am not aware of any specific time of the day when these become available.

My friend currently is in his home country. He worked with H1-b before, and left US because of being laid off (could not found a new job in time). His question is if he can apply for B2 and go to the US first, then stay in US looking for a job. After getting an offer, transfer his previous H1-b to a new company. Can he do like that? Thanks!

you do not have to apply for COS, if she wants she can get h4 stamped when she travels, but is moot anyways as she plans to use EAD anyways nullyfying her H4.

no, you don't have to stick with lawyer for everything.
I have friends who filed 485 through lawyers and have been filing AP and EADs on their own.
