I am working for a client which gave me an offer for a respectable amount. it is much higher than the amount specified in ETA 9089 (F/5) column. my Onet code for the original labor is 15-1071.00. my new job is defined as System Specialist. my job functions( roles) are pretty much the same as my original labor certificate. I tried to search the Onet Code for System specialist and did not find a good match.
Can any one suggest me what are the options.
I also wanted to know weather USCIS will send any letter to new employer regarding to the offer extended to me. MY situation is the client is not willing to sponsor me.

This year a record number of 15 million foreign applicants entered (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/11/22/national/main7078653.shtml) the green card lottery system which only hands out 50,000 green cards each year.
The lottery program was established by the State Department back in 1990. Participation in the lottery has grown steadily as people in the developing word have gained increasing access to the internet. The month long enrollment period ended on November 3. Many people apply year after year since there is no limit on the number of times you can apply. The only rule is that only 7% of the winning applicants may come from any one country.

I am happy to write that today I received my first emailed receipt notice for a FY 2010 H-1B application and that then, about 5 hours later, I received an emailed approval notice in the same case. The I-129 was a U.S. Masters Cap case that was premiumed processed with the Vermont Service Center.
I will update this site as I receive word on my other FY 2010 H-1B cap cases.

Hi All,
I applied I765 in Jan 2011...but its in initial review state now(Nebraska).
Because of some urgent reason i have to leave US in April ...& no such fiexed plan to come back in US near future.
So m planning to withdraw i765 application...So anybody knows answer to my questions,
1.what is the procedure to withdraw?
2.Whats a address for Mail OR Email OR Phone Number?
3.What information do i need to submit?
4.How much time it will take to withdraw?

my wife went to mumbai embassy. after intw they said they need some more info in their systems before issuing the visa. It was h1 renewing. But they didn't keep the passport. Told to submit the passport after they sent email or call you. They did sent the email to submit the passport within 2 days.

Yes, even primary applicant can work on EAD & 1099. But in case RFE is issued for EVL the primary applicant should have permanent full time position.

I work for Employer A (who holds my H1) and I have an approved I-140 from Employer B, I-485 pending. Am due for H1B renewal this Dec, can I use my I-140 Approval (done from Employer B) to get 3 year extension when Employer A applies ?

1) Wrap up the backlog and introduce enough visas to make all categories EB2/EB3 current for everyone.
2) Eliminate this nonsense of H1 visa stamp. A person should be able to apply for visa while remaining in the US.

Hi friends,
I got my I-140 approval in premium processing. But unfortunately, USCIS printed the new labor filing date (2010) when the attorney requested my I-140 to capture the old priority date which is June2004. My law firm already contacted USCIS to issue a revised notice with the old priority date (June2004).
How long does USCIS take to issue a revised I-140? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Anything that we can do to expedite the release of the new I-140 notice with correct priority date?
Please let me know when you get a chance

If so i think your I 485 will be automatically updated ..

Where can i get photos for the Canadian visa. they have different specs. from the US pp photograph. I have already checked- Costco, USPS and the other stores.
I plan to call Sears tomorrow.
