A Certificate of Non-Availability is a statement from the local government/municipality stating that there is no record of the birth.
You need to file separate 485s for each applicant. All applications should be sent in the same packet.

One more question , While filing for I485 for myself and for my spouse, do i fill up same form (I485) for spouse or use any other forms like I-485 Supplement A or I-485 Supplement B

Members who have already done both and members who are in process of doing the same should not feel bad about my post. There is nothing that I have said would hurt their feelings.
By the way there are some members who have said that there are few people who are camera shy. It is understandable. Guess what so far very few people have posted their video. You will be able to count on your fingures.
We have 20k+ members. We hope 20,000 (plus) - 20 = 19,980+ members are not camera shy.
There are around 1500+ members on the forum at this time out of 20k+ members. All our members are willing to spent time posting messages and speculating what will happen in next VB. But they don't have time to post their video. The members don't have time to send Thank You Cards. Four people deserves thank you card and members don't have manners to send a thank you note. This is unacceptable behaviour and please change your attitude.
Don't blame Immigration Voice if you see a bill with no amendments for us. Sometimes we have worked like a mad dog taking lot of risk. We are requesting you to post your video and sent thank you card to 4 people.

Congrats. This is a good sign as TSC seems to working by PD instead of RD. According to TSC their processing dates are at Jul 16, 2007. I hope the keep the good work and go by PD. I am Jul, 04 PD with RD of Aug 2, 07.

After I-485 is filed and 6 months have passed, I can change jobs. But will I have to go through I-140 again? Also, can I retain the old PD?
I thought you could file for a new I-485 only if your PD is current. My PD is not current. Can I still change jobs and file for a new I-485?

That is the whole point .. none of us affected by retrogression can file I-485. Once that is filed, you can change jobs without going through I-140 again .. your GC process continues as if nothing happened.However, your new job has to be similar to your old one for your LC to still hold good.
If, on the other hand, you change jobs now (after 140 approval but before filing 485) then there is still a possibility of carrying on with your old PD provided your old employer does not withdraw your application. So you are still at the mercy of your ex-employer in a way.

My question is do I need to submit old I-20 along with other documents for I-485

I am guessing that most probably the announcement from core team would be about inclusion of some EB favourable provisions into the currently discussed fence bill. Even if the senate passes the bill with these provisions today I hate to admit that time is against us....The senate is going to recesses after the next week and there is hardly anytime to reconcile the bill and re-send it to both the house and the senate and get it passed before that...all this while making sure that amendements that are important to us don't get bumped off in the process. Don't get me wrong...I want to be optimistic...albiet very very cautiously...Good luck to all

It seems others dont do.

I edited my previous post since I had missed the gist of your question. But here is the additional information pasted again.
From the point of recruitment to application, it took about 3 months. I hope it is faster for you. Make sure you get all your previous jobs experience letters at the soonest. That's what took me a long time otherwise the time period from recruitment to application would have been 2 months i.e. approximately 8 weeks.

It gets hard to intoduce bills just alone for EB based GC.It would be impossible to get somthing specifically for EB3 India or china. I know the frustation but we have to be pragmatic too.

i agre with u 100% but doesnt mean everything is that smooth for eliminating GC delays ... its a two sided argument both sides have valid points but at the same in deed effects the jobs of many ( whether some are harassed by desi consulting thatz a second frame ) what will happen if this bill is made in to law , how many visa nos got wasted may be 100K 10 years and INS is damn slow even if this bill passes it takes a lot to adjust whereas H1 comes in to pic right away. there will be mass layoffs ppl will be out of status and it takes time to get a new job man , its not a fruit just pluck and eat. with many ppl coming outofstatus getting jobs would be tough. Now companies dont wait for 6 months. May be u got ur ead hence might be commenting this way.

Oh!! So, if I have moved out of the current company that did my I-140, using AC21 to another company.... And later (many years later) if USCIS sees some fraud in this I-140, they can revoke it and my whole GC process goes down the drain, after waiting years and years????!!!!!!:eek:
