I have got the H1B Visa in Nov. 2008.
and because of current market situation I have not found any job.
I want to process Greencard, so how much time it takes and how would I go further?

This reporter has got it right. The U.S. is obsessed with importing poverty from poor non-assimilated immigrants (mostly illegal) and shunning high-skilled immigrants who assimilate and increase the country's living standards. When will Congress wake-up? Hopefully at our rally!!! That's why we ALL need to go to DC on the 18th! See you there!

Hi there.....Even I want to find out if I-131 (AP) can be RENEWED without paying the fee when I-485 has been filed with the new fee structure. The USCIS site has not mentioned anything regarding the renewal fee for I-131 in this case (whereas it is clearly mentioned for the EAD). Is there anyone who can share his/her experience of AP renewal without paying the fee?

I was recently on H1B and renewal/extension was denied. So I left promptly to go back to Canada to establish residence there and start working. Now I need to return to the USA to retrieve some personal belongings, wrap up my residence and bring a car back etc...
My question is, when I enter the USA for the first time after being denied H1B will I have a hard time and will they be reluctant for some reason to permit me to enter as a visitor? I can't see why they would but who knows???
My family is still in the US and I need to help to get them prepared to come back

More H-1Bs and More high skilled foreigners will not only revive the economy, they will create more jobs for the currently unemployed Americans.
Let those who spread the false rumors that high-skilled foreigners "will work for less" that their lies are only hurting their own children and grand children. Whereas more high-skilled immigrants will ensure those children and grandchildren of nativists and of all Americans can also have an American dream, just like their parents did. If nativists were to kick us out then the new generations can kiss the American dream goodbye.
